MEETING MY EVEREST

Folder:
JOURNAL #20

I would love to climb into your mind

and waltz all about your many more

entrancing thoughts

so go ahead and invite me in

give me this

for its just what I want

I would treasure your memories

and organize your fondest wish lists

I would sleep on an old lumpy sofa at

the farthest back wall of your brain

and want for nothing more than an occasional

fantasy and a kiss

you would never again have to be so alone

nor feel the constant emptiness of the

every day same

you could embrace me in your sleep's

sweetest dreams

and every wonderous waking moment too

but only if you so chose

I could sooth you with the gentleness of my

presence and make you laugh with my humor's

tickling claw

until you long for even more moments alone

so to better enjoy our joined oneness

the once quiet that mocked you

would now become a blessed haven

a quintessential mirror of what I would and

could make for you

in a word a

'home'

and in another a

'life'

and in yet another

the best part of all a

'love'

that's what the whole purpose of the

bittersweet human assignment is for

for each of us the opportunity to make

other's lives far better

even if only

its just one

the connection of the soul to another

through the barricade of human doubt

fear and the drapings of heavy human

flesh and bone is the key

take this to heart

never forget................
