Dream Chasin’ A wake up call for the youth

Some call ya’ ballas’ when I prefer fallas; Some say you wood grain grippin’ rollin round in ya whips when in actuality you’re not far from slippin’ right into Satan’s pits makin’ money off the trash that slips from your lips ladies got fellas payin’ just to look at ya hips but what you fail to realize is there’s more to this life than what you see…let me bring you back to reality and wake you up from your street dream…Ladies first or should I say all my ghetto misses running around town going with fellas because of their riches and you say you’re not materialistic…well I call you judgmental because the fact of it is the nicest ride with the phattest rims will be the one you jump in and think it’s all gravy…2yrs later you walking around with three babies and ya name spread around the hood as the little freak that would do anything she could to make anotha dolla…5 minutes of pleasure and there goes anothat Harvard schola lost to tha game she hangs her head in shame regretting the day she ever came to know these playa type men…here is goes again your belly swells again because of your weakness to participate in lustful sin…you remember your childhood friend yeah, he graduated from Stillman, he was nerd so you didn’t give him the time of day and now you’re hopin and a wishin he would look your way but it’s sad to say that you’re done; and fellas don’t think you’re left out of this one with ya big gunz you laugh in fun when you see a brotha run and his body lie lifelessly on the ground but it’s funny how things will change when this mess comes back around you thought you were the “Big Dawg” in town because you sold the most drugs and the most girlz that would give it up…what!!!! Now you locked up and where ya boyz? Where ya homiez ya rolled with brangin all da noiz? Yeah, it’s funny how they were quiet as a mouse when the folks kicked in your house and drugg you out…afta all the things that yall been through it’s hard to believe that ya boyz are the ones that dropped the bomb on you for a lil’ change…you suffer the pain from the truth. Ladies and gentlemen living life in the fast lane brings you nothing but sorrow, sadness, and pain and along with that comes guilt and shame…the things we people do to get a name in this childish game, this deadly game, this senseless game, did I mention the word game? This isn’t the game of Life where you spin the wheel and everything is all right, this is a battle for your soul and only you with the help of God can determine how the end of this story will be told. Now a question of advice…What are you willing to sacrifice to live that balla life? It’s time to make the things that are wrong right …to rid the world of such evil and strife…to open our eyes and realize that there are too many lives being taken and it’s all because of this unrealistic DREAM CHASIN!!!! Time is running out!!!
