A whisper in time.

My head is wrecked my heart is too,
All around my darkness looms,
Rushing in fast, encircling its prey,
devouring my soul on this day.

My life forlorn, lost all hope,
hands and mind trembling caressing the rope.
Rushing in fast, encircling its prey,
devouring my soul on this day.

Quiet now, was the whisper,
not the way, so not true.
They speak to me and now to you.
They told me this so i know it’s true

There is a way through the darkness,
too dark now to see it, true.
Too much anger and despair.
Yet they whisper almost there.

Those taken before by the beast,
not nearly beaten, just not here.
Still they whisper in my ear,
we be the guardians of your fear.

Too those of you we stretch to reach,
darkest of places you be swallowed,
one way out that you won’t be followed,
this you’re thought, but not solely.

Before you do this thing,
sit quietly for a time,
these whispers are yours as well as mine,
they will come give it time.

When they do, you will feel it too.
Back from the abyss you will be,
You have conquered death you see,
now they whisper, You are free.
