well, both sides seem to agree

john mccain's as much like george wallace,

as barack obama's like martin luther king

but that's miles apart as far as i can see



they sprayed protestors at the DNC,

just like was done to martin luther king

yes, that also was done at the RNC

both candidates are war mongers for one tyranny



one tyranny

(it's all about their control money)



one nation under who?,

one world

of high rollers rolling their dice

over you and me



i'm not in the crowd

yelling drill, baby, drill

or screaming "obama,

we love you"

i'm not in the crowd

i'm outside dragged away

a bruised up face

from the brutality you think you escape



(why do you love the high rollers

and a gamblers safety?)

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Veterans who wanted to ask questions to the candidates, fellow protestors, and bystanders were harmed when police turned horses on them outside of the Presidential debate at Hofstra. Largely ignored by the media, one veteran had his cheekbone broken when he was stepped on by a police horse. He was then arrested, amongst others who were injured.

Nice political satire, I thought you all bought the election razzamatazz on your side of the pond. I was obviously wrong. Thanks for commenting on my piece by the way. Very few people seem to bother these days!
