Do you pay attention to colors while going for fishing?

Though there are lots of debates on whether the fish can read colors, my best buddy and guide Mr. Tom Hanks who is an outdoor fishing trainer taught me some interesting facts about the relationship between color and fishing. Before his death, he acquired many trophies in fishing competitions. He was very famous for his stealth mood while fishing. He used to wear attire according to the surrounding environments. It was my luck that I could come under his guidance for about 10 years. Hanks taught me to show up always with the dark type of color to get natural stealth mood so that creatures fail to draw my position.

I was so inspired by his techniques that sometimes I just wearied his favorite gifted black Hawaiian print shirt you may call it's a fishing t shirts to get his attention. He was the best spearing, netting, angling and trapping expert I know. Today I want to take this opportunity to share my experience about choosing perfect shade while I go for trapping game.

The conspiracy theory of fishing color: According to science, water fishes are attracted by bright color. They can detect colors. I have also read some books related to animal’s color sense.  Those books mainly featured the life stories of many tiers and fishermen who are in this profession form many years. According to those books, some anglers maintain the choice of color and some choose rationally and to them, color does not make any difference. Though there are scientific theories, to me, picking the right color under and above the water has an impact on chances of catching fish. Same time the books also featured some fisherman who thought the color of the fly has limited impression.

What I discover about the attention of color: Throughout my fishing journey, I went to many challenges and fun in scuba diving with trout, pike, and other species. One interesting thing I learn that fishes are a good learner and learning contentiously from more than 450 million years. These creatures can easily detect, bird’s fly over the water, shadows overhead, anglers shadow factors and many more. From these panic factors always, it chooses what needs to be done to get protections. So based on the findings they shouldn’t be able to detect t-shirt or appeals colors which are apparently far away from their eyesight. Trust me, here you are totally wrong.

According to hanks, since bright color can attract underwater, it’s really necessary to wear stealthy colors which will never hurt your chances of netting. Though I love to wear bright color in my regular life I have chosen deep color before I approach to fish. Knowing the facts of increasing the chances, I feel confident and self-esteem to wear gloomy color garments. Self-assurance always works like shining beacon to concentrate on things what I do.

This isn't lying that there are no exact approaches to gain 100% success for a deep-sea man. Every angler has his or her own way to bring success by their own strategies which may differ from one another. Since successful fisherman is able to deal with the chances, the theories and ideas won’t carry any value.

To me, when you are thinking to add some values to your approaches, you should integrate your own color probability in wearing garments so that it can bring better output. As a part of the smart plan, you should probably attach your own experience. But sometimes, I still wear a bright color to bring some changes. Let’s hear some stories from you.
