ÅSATRU

Rustling rivers, stroke the winds dry
From this leaf, I am born again
Infinite, Like Yggdrasil

Hart has not yet come
Dark of Wood
Nocturnal nymphs sing

Combing the raven`s hair
As we whisper
Rites of passage
to the aesirs

Beyond the sea
Beyond all seas
The seven empiress
Shield the nine worlds

The further inward
you will go
The more you
shall know

Hart has not yet come

Dark of Wood
Nocturnal nymphs sing

Their songs are a map
Of the After Worlds
This ship shall descend
From dust, to soil

When Mother Earth had wept
She swept Her tears
Under the snow
The Atlas of words

Birds of prey
sharpen their talons
Echoing cries
of air

The further inward
you will go
The more you
shall know

Infinite, like Yggdrasil
From this leaf, She is born again
Rustling rivers, stroke the winds dry

notes

åsatru, the old scandinavian pagan belief
