What can I do?
When I don’t know what to say
I want to write a poem
But don’t want it to be gay

I want to write the best
That I have ever done
I want everyone to read it
Because it’s the best one

I want to be proud of it,
Hoping it will be perfect too
Having no errors or mistakes
The best that I can do

I want to feel happy
That I can write so well
I want to feel proud,
That my poem was just so swell

I want it to have meaning
And make a lot of sense
So everyone understands it
And no one will get tense

I’d say this poem is perfect,
If it had meaning with it too
Because it’s all it should be
And all that I could do!
