As I enter the
chamber of silence
resting awhile
renewing my spirit.

Laying the burdens
of life aside,
one by one they
fall away.

I climb the ladder
to a new peace of
mind.

Grasping the how
and why of life,
the big picture
overwhelms me.

In this quest
my soul is laid
bare,

Once again I rest.
