poem_263_Starfish

'Though salt stains

And thoughts linger

There still remains

A pierced finger

No precious jewel

But still the same

That which is there

Is 'Behr's domain

All bad be gone

And progress start

Sooner will be

The platypus' heart

Salt will cease

Smells not taunt

And meeting will be

A thing to want

At that moment

When all is done

What will be left

Is nothing but fun

So let noise wash

And colors fade

Touch be numb

And taste evade

When cold seasons pass

And warmer winds begin

The blossom of cherry

Will find you again
