Toward the light,
I could not reach it,
Then, a seed.
We happened
next to each other,
Grew into
one another.
Entwined,
We became one,
Shared affections,
Afflictions.
Though the
earth fell
on us,
together we grew.
Toward the light,
Forever up,
Come rain,
Come pain.
Push through it all,
Swaying in the wind,
Held together,
Stronger each day.
No storm broke us,
Made it to the clouds,
The sky is ours,
There's only light.
This is
completion.
Our love grows
eternal after.
