What is it?
Is it a thing?
Is it a feeling?
Is it someone?
Is it life?
Is it worth dying for?
Is it worth pain?
What is it really?
The meaning of it?
What ever it is, you just don't know the difference between love and lies
You cant just lie and tell someone you love them when you don't
It doesn't work like that
Because you obviously don't know the real definition of love
And if you did, you never would've said "I love you" to me
Never would've said it to someone you don't care about
Why were you with me if you just don't care
Why be with me if you're not gonna make it worth your while
Whatever the definition of love is....
...You're not smart enough to realize that
You don't just say those three little words for fun
You say it if you really mean it
Not say it then lie and cheat
So in the end...
You only wasted your breath saying things you don't mean
But...ehh...oh well...doesn't hurt me none
But I still have one question:
Love
What is it?

i dont really know the point of this poem...a heartbreak? or a random poem tryin to figure out what love really is?

i wish

more people thought like this, love is a word that is thrown out there too often --- especially by people who have no idea what it means

love is u-n-c-o-n-d-i-t-i-n-a-l, that means you do it not out of obligation, but just BECAUSE ----- love is such a beautiful thing when it is real.... what a shame that so many people destroy their own integrity by misusing this word.

unconditional love exists not because we deserve it, but because we don't deserve it but get it anyway... it is a free gift, we choose to accept and give, or deny and lose

Ahhh!

Interesting question, my theory is, It's everything! Every emotion under the sun stems from it. How do you keep positive? You feed it and forgive it. How do you attract it? You keep it, give glimpses and don't give it freely. Make em work for it so they value it. Never look for it, it will find you. Never need it because you'll suffocate it. Enjoy it when it's around and don't forget to leave often to stoke the fires of absence which light the rosy glow. Great poem, don't stress, I always say gay or straight, let love happen first the rest will follow ;) cheers SS
