I suppose one could try smelling salts.
But then ya never know,
What if instead
I accidentally were to
Pull out my chloroform?
"Lonely and pathetic"
Are not adjectives I would use
In a million lifetimes to describe
A spirit of such glorious grace and grandeur.
But then I must remember:
I've never seen her
When I wasn't around.
