Man of my dreams

Your every thing I want you to be

That’s why I see you here

In my fantasies

You captivate me nightly

I yearn for you

But it’s sad to say

I would never be true

For another holds my heart

He holds my faith and my trust

And if he wasn’t mine

He would also hold my lust

The man of my dreams

Is no one to me

Now I see the truth

He is just a fantasy

The man of my dreams

Is the one who calls me “wife”

The only one I’d hold true to

And love for all my life
