History 101: 1776 In Retrospect
I thought our nation fought at Revolution
to be rid of the English "royals'" presence
among us, and their shadowed luminscence;
to bring their baleful influence to conclusion.
Why does our media pay such attention
to them; and no one speaks up in dissension.
Despte what Tudor propagandists claimed,
the real English King (by them defamed)---
of whom I doubt the Windsors barely heard---
was Richard, designated as "the Third."
