Oceanic Fears

The waves crash down

The tide creeps in

Feeling the coarse, dense sand against your skin.

An endless sight

The unknown sleeps

Treading upon the shallowing deeps.

A vast creation

A curious wonder

The fearful panic that pulls you under.

A shattering scream

The breath of fate

Those beneath shall now await.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I've had a fear of the ocean ever since I was a child.
