Frustration

Don’t pass this up dear friends - t ’is a portrait

Of disappointment, cheated hopes, and woe

A-burrowing the head in sheets - frustrate!

Frustration in persona -, -laying low.

Expectances not met, - short-circuted

By friends, - behold the mourning  burrowing head,

And trunk exhausted, spent - prostrate , how sad

It is to see the  poet  peer   frustrate!

Try never to be cause of so much woe!-

To cause a friend stretched out upon a sheet,

Or eiderdown   with curling feet and toe,

It’s wrong ! it’s wrong ! and is not fair and meet.!

In disappointment and frustration’s chill

With cork screw toes he digs, that look so neat,

Behold!   in  fluffy  eiderdowns until

He finds the spot where wit and dullness meet.
