Mystics - Triple Rictameter

Mystics

Feel different

Than the pious  devout,-

They admit that there are no words

For what is simply Inexpressible,

And insist that one can not tell

Their experience is

Beyond words as

Mystics

Mystics

Can understand

The great Variety

Of religious experience,

And the many faces of verity,

Of the one and only great Truth,

Of whom they cannot speak,

Because they are

Mystics

Mystics

Nurture the Faith

Of the humble faithful

But they disturb the slumber peace

Of the complacent and too self-assred,

Mystics frustrate the contented,

And the canonical

As unexplicable

Mystics

spirituality of the direct experience of God.
