Old Letter In A Box

Dear God,                       July 9, 2000 12:03 a.m.

P----- and S------ as you know are in my prayers every day. These two are important friends although we're long separated. Thank you for sending them to me once when the days are bleary. May be one day, God, those two will meet each other and therefore be friends, I'm praying for that, too.

There were many things left unsaid that I needed to say to each of them but I understand that they will fade as time passes on and so they won't know. I'm no longer a part of either of their lives but nevertheless I want them to be happy. So let them be prosperous, healthy, and may the lives they live be abundant. I want You to know I'm proud, unconditionally, of both P----- and S------ and who they've become.

There were moments in which I wish to meet them again.  Still the same, please God, watch them if I fail to find those two again. I honestly care about those two.

Author's Notes/Comments:

An old letter I've found in a dusty box.  It wasn't a letter that's meant to be sent somewhere but a goodbye letter I've made for myself after losing contact with each other.  Old buddies may be separated and live separate lives away from each other now but that never erases the good times we shared.
