You let me hurt You, but I am to blame

Folder:
2010

The things I choose to lie about are the lies you choose to see
You are smart enough to know the truth, yet you stay with me
You like it and you know it, you need it to feel loved
You pretend its trickery, “he never pushed and shoved”
Because the things I choose to lie about they are the lies you choose to see
You are smart enough to know the truth, yet you always forgive me

Author's Notes/Comments:

I am not the I in this poem, I am you
