Baby cousin


"Mummy!" 

He called me

As always, I smiled an authentic smiled at him

While he laughed jubilantly 

And ran around the living room.

Minutes passed,

Hours passed, 

There's a heap of muddles everywhere

And he still laughed and laughed

And wore that moon light smiled of him

While trashing around the living room.

"Stop!" I shrieked 

"Sit down quietly or the clown will come for you".

He froze,

And there's a glint of feared in his tiny eyes

Steadily, he made his way to the jet black couch and settled quietly

And I wore that initial smiled of mine
